"Téranga", the name we’ve given to our guest-house, means welcome and hospitality in Wolof, the main language of the West African country of Senegal where the owner spent her childhood. Téranga is the joy we feel when visitors arrive. We look forward to your arrival and we hope to have the pleasure of sharing our love for the beautiful region of the Quercy in southwestern France.

Located in the Lot Valley, 1 km from the old village of Pradines and 6 kms from Cahors, Téranga is a 19th century manor house. You’ll enjoy the shade of the century old vines on the terrace, and you’ll appreciate relaxing in the cedar grove and in the garden which enjoys a view of the hills winding along the river Lot.

The sitting-room, the dining-room and the bedrooms have all been lovingly restored in keeping with the atmosphere of this family house where generations have spent happy vacations.
